DAN SCHMITT COMMITS TO PUT CITIZENS FIRST

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

GLEN ALLEN, VA – Dan Schmitt, candidate for the Henrico Board of Supervisors, today issued the following statement to the citizens of the Brookland District:

"I believe that the residents of Brookland District deserve a Supervisor who will represent their interests ahead all other obligations and should always know that they, as the citizens, come before anything else.

My company, RMC Events, has had the privilege of  providing event staffing and management services for many private and public venues and currently has contracts with Caroline, Chesterfield, Hanover, and Henrico counties. In the case of Henrico County, we have small contracts providing services to Recreation and Parks and Henrico Public Schools. To ensure that all voters understand my commitment to serving them without any perceived conflicts, upon being elected on November 6th I will immediately direct RMC Events to contact Henrico County's Purchasing Office to request termination of all contracts between RMC Events and Henrico County, including Henrico County Public Schools.

I believe that the highest standards of integrity and transparency are the bedrock to good governance and public trust. Although I would not be required to do this under Virginia law, I want Brookland and Henrico residents to know that they will always come first with me as their Supervisor."
